It began with a single batch of my mother-in-law’s Panjeeri blend that we made for my sister after she welcomed her baby boy this summer. When I shared the behind-the-scenes on my Instagram account, the requests to order our Panjeeri poured in. Within weeks, we had shipped hundreds of packages to real customers. What's in your Panjeeri?
Mora Panjeeri is crafted with over 10 nuts and seeds, slow-roasted in ghee for deep flavor and nourishment.
Our full ingredient list includes: almond, cashew, walnut, popped water lily seed (makhana), melon seed, sesame seed, poppy seed, nigella seed, fennel seed, gum Arabic (gond), Butea gum (kamar kas), ginger, cardamom, coconut, golden raisins, whole wheat flour, semolina, jaggery, and ghee.
How much should I consume?
We recommend 2 tablespoons per day for everyday wellness. A 1 lb bag lasts about 2 weeks, while a half-pound bag lasts about a week with regular use.
How long does Panjeeri stay fresh?
When stored properly, Mora Panjeeri stays naturally fresh and shelf-stable for up to 4 months.
Is it made with seed oils or refined sugar?
Never. Mora Panjeeri is roasted in ghee and sweetened only with jaggery. No seed oils, no refined sugar, ever.
Is the Panjeeri gluten-free?
Our recipe includes whole wheat flour and semolina, so it is not gluten-free at this time.
Can I enjoy Panjeeri if I’m pregnant?
Panjeeri is not advised during pregnancy due to its warming properties. Please consult your doctor before consuming.
